pull up a chair...

I'm a firm believer that food is a love language. I grew up in a family that gathered around the table and kitchen counter. My grandparents, aunts, uncles, parents, and everyone in between had a part in the kitchen. Nana Barb was the main point of contact for Christmas cookies and Penne alla Vodka, Nana Pat is the guru of St. Patrick's Day, my mom (Trishy) is the head chef of every family event, and my dad (Sam) is the grill master and will try to make anything once. Because of these kitchen characters, I ended up at culinary school. I graduated from The Culinary Institute of America, and have now found myself unable to escape restaurant life, but I wouldn't want it any other way. I show my love through food and hospitality and connect with my family, friends, and even strangers over a plate. To me, it's a universal language, one that I want to speak to everyone through.
